The Outdoor Plus - Fire Glass Burning Media (25 lb bags)

 Choose some WOW!  Adding a "topper" of fire glass to your fire feature truly customizes your bowl, pit or table to your space and personality.   

Select a single color/style or get creative by mixing two of the same styles of media together such as:  Cerulean and Clear pebbles; Turquoise and Blue Glass; or Copper Reflective and Gold Reflective glass.

The table below shows manufacturer recommendations to add 2" of fire glass media topper to your fire bowl, fire pit, or fire table.  Underneath, you'll want to use a filler material (such as the Lava Rock) and up to the level of the fire ring.  

To keep your fire glass from slipping into the filler material, simply use a separator of any fire proof screen material (such as wire mesh or stucco lathe available at your local hardware, Home Depot or Lowes store).  Place the screen material over the filler and place your fire glass on top.  Wa la! 

What is the sizes of the glass pieces?

• Regular glass (non-reflective) pieces 1/2" - 3/4" 
• Reflective glass pieces are 1/4"
• Pebble pieces are 3/4"

Refer to the charts below and to the product page of your fire feature to determine how many 25 lb bags of media to order.  The quantity to order is based on the dimensions and shape of your fire feature.
